I liked this mug from the start but was disappointed when the handle started to loosen after about a year and a half. Otherwise it's held up well and I didn't want to think I'd have to figure out how to recycle it. I checked the Questions and Answers section on the product and some people said it could be tightened and others just called it crap. I knew it wasn't crap, but I wasn't sure I could fix it. Finally I just reached out to Mira and they quickly got back to me and told me to look at the bottom of the handle and open it that separates the two parts of the handle and here is the culprit! A small Phillips screw has come loose. Within seconds I had it re-tightened and it's like new - or even better because I now know it's better designed than I even knew to begin with! So please, all Mira Mug haters, take a moment and fix the Mira Travel Mug! For your health!
