I ended up having to drill holes in the core of the divider. One hole was at 6 o'clock and the other at about 1 o'clock on the core of the baffle, while the insert has holes at 12 and 6. I also had to drill some holes as this insert doesn't reach the holes. Once installed it has mitigated the higher, penetrating exhaust spectrum and made driving much more enjoyable. Still very loud, and without it sounds a little meaner than deaf.
