As a DSLR hobbyist, I don't have a lot of money for a studio setup. These outlets work great with 10 inch long 85 watt CFL light bulbs. They hold bulbs securely and have a simple switch on the back of the sockets. My umbrellas are easy to attach to sockets. The whole process of installing coasters, sockets, umbrellas and light bulbs takes no more than five minutes. Highly recommended.
