pack saved. on thermostats, elements and parts for water heaters

About a half hour past my time I got back to work. I didn't pay a service fee or a mechanic. If you want to know if it's a problem if your water heater won't fire, simply connect the two terminals of each of these temperature sensors in turn. If the water heater caught fire, one or both cracked, then this set will solve your problem. DO NOT operate the water heater with jumpers for a long period of time. Without them it will overheat. For testing and a few minutes of work, it won't hurt. I noticed that some people had trouble getting the plastic disc under the tabs. Simply take a small flathead screwdriver or tool and gently pry open the tabs until you can twist the washer under the tabs. Then, with a light tap, you can pry the tabs back. Easy. Also remove the old glue from the tank before replacing it with a new one. /old glue can act as an insulator, causing it to malfunction and possibly burn out faster. People had trouble figuring out which goes where. If you look at the bottom, each has a temperature marking. One should say 160°C and the other should say 190°C. 190 is ECO (emergency shutdown) and 160 is thermostat.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Slightly torn
