This slide scanner (it actually takes a 'picture' of your slide) is quick and easy to use. It takes me about 5 minutes to scan 35 slides. I don't even try to correct the colors and exposure on the machine, instead I remove the SD card and edit and name the slides from my computer. (It takes another 20 minutes!) If the slide has too large an exposure range (from very bright white to very dark), the scanner can't handle that either, but imaging software will do just fine. Smoother exposure slides work quite well when processed on a computer. (I use Fotor on a Mac computer. I like it because it "exports" the file and I can organize it by year and month (because the slide isn't "stamped" with the date it was taken) I use a 32GB SD card (often with recommended in this article) and it works OK. I don't scan too many slides at once because I want to title them (with my photo editing software so anyone looking at them knows what's going on and what year it was). , since it is a separate element. Slide scanners often work, but then an operating system update suddenly no longer works. I did not want that. In general I am very satisfied. I have lots of slides to scan and share with the kids! So whoever watches it knows what's going on and what year it was). Slide scanners often work but then the OS update suddenly stopped working. I did not want that. In general I am very satisfied.
