Here is the installation process that worked for me: I refused to use the adhesion promoter because I couldn't figure out what it was made of. I was sure it wasn't bad for my car but decided not to use it anyway. What I did was to mount the spoiler without it and heat some 3M tape with a hair dryer, that melted it a bit and increased the good adhesion to the paint. .That looks great. One end of the spoiler popped out but I only replaced the glue in that area and everything has been fine ever since. I would recommend this product to anyone with patience and a hair dryer!
