At first I was very pleased to receive this large set at such a price. I was expecting the insides of the rocks to be rough but it will cut through any long fins in an instant. I soaked them in hot water for over an hour, cleaned and rinsed thoroughly, scraped off any loose particles from the inside to smooth them out a bit and placed them in my aquarium. Thank goodness I didn't have any fish as the water got slightly cloudy and all my shrimp were dead in exactly 6 hours. I now boil rocks but I've thrown them away and boiled them again 3 times and the water in the pot still has a strong one chemical smell and an iridescent sheen. What the hell is in them? I will return them tomorrow.
