I ordered this brand one two others in order to do a proper review which will come later. It’s sleek. Very nice red color with charger on the end, feels lightweight but not cheap. The ease of use is phenomenal. The flexibleness is perfect. Lighting a candle was an easy thing. I want to see if it works by sticking into a tight space to hit a pilot light that usually takes fifteen minutes to ignite due to wonky seated positioning in the patio heater. This flexible lighter may make it a breeze- may not work at all. Speaking of breezes, this lights like a dream in high winds- but don’t light anything in high winds! Bad idea! You may need some Hemp wick for fire-starting. I can’t try any of these right now as am having 50-60 mph wind gusts.I like to really test items before I say much on reviews so can’t do a full review yet. As for the battery life, I can’t discuss at all. I’ve had it out of the box for twenty minutes. As for safety, there’s an easy to push on-off switch and if on, it’s beyond easy to light. I’d say there is zero legit safety on this. It’s not a toss it into the bin and travel to the campsite with it type thing. I can see accidental fires if you do, but I imagine all of these type lighters to be in the same type situation. Maybe keep the box and store it in there and be extra motivated to keep little pyros away from this. It is indeed an adult tool.Gotta love the sound it makes- high voltage power generation in miniature! Creeps me a tad but it’s t will be a great sound effect!Also came with a tiny brush for cleaning the firing head as you must clean the ignition "timely”- whatever that means. The English instructions are poor, at best, but essentially, there’s a rubber protection ring on the ignition area that may melt. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad- to be expected or to be prevented. Wildly guessing that it’s indifferent but that’s merely a guess.
