Two repairmen came to me to "fix" a toilet tank that was constantly leaking. The first did absolutely nothing because he was unwilling to replace anything. The second told me to buy a universal kit from Home Depot so he could install it. This worked for about two weeks. When I finally called a certified plumber, he told me to replace the valve over the phone (free of charge). So I ordered the best I could find on Revain because I had already replaced the flaps and figured I could do it. Well all the instructions were in French (what to do with that?) but there were enough pictures and swapping out this part is pretty easy. Problem solved. I wish I had wasted my money on these two handymen I got from Home Advisor.
