I bought the same pump model 3 times because it didn't work for a week after installing it. It is used for pumping reverse osmosis drinking water in a country house, so it is used little, and the continuous operation time is usually less than 3 minutes. I found a bad electrical connection with the red wire to the pump switch to be the cause of the pump failure on the last two pumps. The pump would start and stop if I wiggled the cable connector slightly. If the connector is pulled outward with moderate pressure, the pump will again run "for a while" - typically less than 10 on/off cycles - before losing power again. I assume that vibration during operation is the cause of the failures, even though the pump's rubber feet are mounted on a piece of plywood. The pressure and flow rate seems good when running and if it had stayed ok I would rate it 5 stars.
