Although the reviews for this product were good, no one mentioned the size. The item description lists a size that I thought was wrong so I came back to let you know the actual size and what I think of it. Hopefully this stuff costs a fortune to make because for the amount you get it seems overpriced. I needed a seal that no one else had in stock. I didn't want to wait a month for one of these to arrive so I stumbled upon this upholstery material. The gasket I need is between one of my cats and the manifold so obviously it's going to be hot in there, silicone gasket manufacturers won't work because their max temperature is around 700F. This stuff works for me up to 3000F. In fact, I only had to make one block, which usually costs $10. I could do that well with half a leaf. I'll try not to lose the other half, it's $15 down the drain. This company seems to know that those who need to make their own pads are in a bind, so they will take advantage of the situation and charge as much as they can, knowing you have no other choice. Regardless, $30 is still cheaper than renting a car.
