This is an AMAZING monitor with great picture quality, 1ms response time and 144Hz refresh rate. However, you must be very knowledgeable about computers before making such an expensive purchase. Expect initial picture quality issues first and also expect Display Port to stop working for you for no reason. If this happens, it doesn't mean you need to repair your graphics card or buy a new cable, it's a known displayport issue that hasn't been tested and isn't true. Only buy this monitor if you know what you are doing and are a computer expert like me. Otherwise there is nothing but trouble and problems. Incidentally, the built-in speakers, unlike other reviewers, are excellent for apartment conditions where subwoofers and very loud sound are annoying. If you want bass and volume, buy 7.1 headphones. The great thing about the built in speakers is that they won't bother your neighbors, they're loud and you can take off your headphones when I'm not playing. Great monitor, but not for everyone.
