Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy A50 Verizon Smartphone in Black with 64GB Storage by Buana ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Now more about some of the features: - NFC: I would recommend using Samsung Pay as it requires a passcode/finger/face for payment transactions even if the screen is unlocked. In Google Pay, just an unlocked screen is enough to make a purchase for any amount. - Huge customization options: *It is better not to touch the notification sounds in the settings: when setting the notification sound for the SIM card1, the same sound will be set as the system default. However, for each of the applications, you can set your own sound for any type of notification; * Setting the color rendering for the screen allows you to "fit" the screen to your tastes; * A lot of themes for the phone itself, as well as for the keyboard, fonts and other things; - There is a "Children's Mode": in it, the device turns into an interactive children's toy with its own camera, gallery, video player, games, browser and more. You can only exit this mode with a password/fingerprint.

Pros
  • - Excellent screen, resolution, color reproduction, brightness. Everything is great. I did not notice the PWM effect; - Memory capacity: in version 6/128 everything is fine. After setting up and downloading all the ates, an average of 2-2.3 GB of RAM remains free, which, as it were, hints at 4 GB, it would already be back to back. 128 permanent memory is also very nice, especially since you can also add a memory card; - NFC chip works quickly; - GPS wakes up quickly and catches confidently even in places where mobile communication is not available; - The battery capacity is enough for 1 full day of fairly active use; - Huge opportunities for personalizing settings (I will describe in more detail in the comments); - Contrary to popular belief, the fingerprint sensor works well. Either the firmware was ated, or the matter is in the competent setting of the prints, but there are almost no failures. You just need to understand how this thing works: an optical sensor is used and it needs time to process the image. It is also necessary that the finger completely covers the sensor and is not dirty, wet, etc.
Cons
  • - On my copy, the cameras are slightly crooked: selfie and one of the main ones. It does not seem to affect the quality of the photo, then there is little aesthetic pleasure. - When lightly tapping with your finger on the back cover of the phone in the area of the camera block, you can hear some kind of tinkling, as if something is poorly fixed inside the case. The same sound is heard if the phone is lowered onto the table with the end farthest from the finger sensor. I didn’t find any effect on the functionality, but it’s not pleasant.
