I don't usually take the time to review products but for this pump I just need it. I got into trouble the other day digging trenches and digging in a new power grid on my property. I came across the top of a 5 inch concrete gutter slab for the perimeter and floor drains in my 60 year old building. There was no way of knowing where they were going, so I took a chance and just knocked out the top of the tile at a depth of 24 inches. The ditch, this one about 50 feet long, slowly filled in which wasn't much of a dilemma until we had 2 inches of rain that evening. I was in a mess and my project was dead. I found this pump immediately at Revain and received it the next day. I hooked it up to a 1-1/2" sump hose and dropped it in the ditch - dumped it out quickly enough and kept the water running long enough for me to fix the tile. Then I decided to dump this thing in the perimeter drainage pit on the other side of the store and it worked three days in a row. This thing never missed a beat, in fact I've since ordered a second one to have a backup. This thing was a life saver. What a great $70 product!
