Pros: The construction looks good for a sandal in this price range. The materials feel durable, the outsole grips well on slick surfaces, there's some cushioning and arch support, the heel strap allows for a comfortable adjustment, and my pinky toe can't slip out of the strap. Size: I ordered a size 10 and they were a bit big for my foot. I wear size 10D (Medium) in dress shoes and sneakers; for hiking shoes I increase it to a 10 1/2 or 11. This is my first pair of fishing sandals and I think the difference is that I don't wear socks. When I wear athletic socks, these sandals fit about the same as my sneakers. So I suggest judging fit by how your shoes feel without socks. If you like a tighter fit in sandals, you can go down one size. I added a set of insoles to improve the fit rather than going down to a smaller size. However, I'm not sure if this works for everyone. Odor: The sandals had a plastic smell when received. it does not bother me; However, my wife returned a pair of shoes with the same but stronger smell. I'll leave them out in the sun for a while, that should help.
