I bought these connectors after buying over 50 cheaper AMPCOM models (still CAT6A and shielded but with tin shell) and had a lot of connections (link speed drop or no connection) and Fit issues (poor fit or broken plastic tabs). These connectors are definitely a lot more secure and seem to fit better, but I just got them so it's probably too early to say for sure. The only downside was that out of the 10 units I ordered (2 sets) at least 8 had loose screws or one screw was completely out of its socket. The screw holds the two main parts together. It was easy to put the screw back where it came out all the way and tighten the just loose ones. The connection seems very strong and although they cost twice as much as their cheaper version, they seem to be a lot better. My only concern is the cost of replacing all the 50+ cheaper AMPCOM connectors that I have to replace due to all the random problems.
