Not for rarely used trailers.
I installed this on a two axle horsebox. The installation went smoothly and everything worked great for the first year. This is one of those trailers that sometimes sits on dirt, grass, or gravel for months. If the trailer remains an idol, the moisture inside the battery box will not dry out. Then the internal circuit board corrodes and the system fails. I have used the system for two years. It cost $35 back then. I think it was worth the money but now at over $55 new I can't recommend it.
