This works perfectly if you mount it on the wall. If you try to use this under a closet it won't work. I first tried under my kitchen cabinet since my old one was there. I installed it correctly. There is definitely a right way and a wrong way to make this happen. The small hooks that push and hold the reel must be positioned so that they return to the wall, otherwise the entire reel will fall out if you pull on it when inserting. Even though I installed it correctly under the closet, the roll still fell off almost every time someone grabbed a paper towel. I was about to give up and buy another but decided to wall mount it instead. I'm so glad I did! When it's on the wall, it works great! The role never fell off. You need to make sure that the hooks retract up and not down when you attach them to the wall. That way when you peel off the paper towel it goes against them and they don't push in. I've seen some complaints that this comes with a sticker that's difficult to remove. not mine. I had a thin cardboard label attached to the product. Nothing could be removed from the towel rail. I'm guessing they may have changed it since there were so many complaints about it. This includes screws as well as command bars. I only use command strips on the wall and they don't move. I've had it for almost 4 months now, no problems. I like the fact that it's plastic because it won't rust if it gets wet. I think it's a really great paper towel holder and it's so convenient that I don't have to keep it taking up space on the counter. I wish it could be installed under a closet and work fine.
