I bought this for my many house plants. I love that it has a humidification feature that allows me to set the humidity level I want and the machine will automatically turn on or off to keep the humidity level at the level I set. I also wanted a cool and warm mist option. Cool mist works great, warm mist but I didn't notice much of a difference and I left it on warm mode for a couple of hours and didn't notice much of a difference between cold and warm. The ultrasonic function works surprisingly well. I leave it on for at least 9 hours each night and have no puddles or noticeable wet spots around the humidifier. It has a very fun mist that I can really appreciate. The degrees reader is only in Celsius, there is no other option. I don't care about the temperature in the room, I'm more concerned about the humidity, so it doesn't bother me that much.
