I bought this set of 5 for a garage door surveillance project and after a few days was very disappointed in them. First, the polarity is wrong. NC tests as "open" and NO tests as "closed" on my system. but it doesn't matter anyway since you can use both, right? NOT CORRECT. 4 days later one of my sensors stopped working and I thought it was my wiring, software or hardware. After replacing everything, I was able to conclude that the sensor was defective. So replaced and everything worked again. within 1 day. Again I thought it was my gear so I even swapped out the monitor head unit. It was the switch again! If you're looking for cheap reed switches with mislabeled pins, you've come to the right place. Much luck.
