Good quality latch so it's hard to understand why it comes with such poor instructions. I was very skilled, followed the instructions and cut the door perfectly, but the lock didn't sit flush with the edge of the door like it was supposed to. I machined an extra 1/8" on the edge of the door to fit properly. The instructions for the lock are also missing and when followed exactly the latch would not close and was pushed back about 3/16". It took a bit Ingenuity and I added a thin steel plate behind the latch plate in the correct position to engage the hook rather than lengthening the slot and moving the latch plate If you want a fairly good quality latch and don't need instructions on how to install this is it option right for you.
