I rarely write reviews anywhere. It sounds artificial. Having recently received a pump action sentry post, I had to leave for the weekend. Before running out the door, I quickly installed the block and 2 batteries in parallel, all of which took maybe 20 minutes. I knew it was raining heavily this weekend. Fast forward 12 hours when my utility company sent a horrible text message about a power outage that is estimated to be fixed in 6-8 hours. I was panicking. When I got home the next day, the basement was dry. The device worked exactly as intended and already had the batteries fully charged. I know how unlikely it is that I would have counted on it on day one. Buy it. Install it. Sleep well at night.
