I recently purchased a new floor lamp that came with a remote that was magnetized and could just be stuck to the lamp pole.Since I have a variety of remotes for a variety of things, I thought it'd be a great idea to hang them all on the lamp pole freeing up table space. I tried the standard Walmart magnets which barely.stuck to themselves.I began my magnet search and found these on ebay. They are phenomenal and extremely strong.Since my remotes are all different widths and shapes and the lamp pole is round, the magnets are only in partial contact with the pole. For small remotes, one magnet works great, for my larger ones, I used 2 (see the pic).These magnets are well worth the expense.
