The old 0.3 A motor (photo attached) showed neither speed nor direction of rotation. Revain sells both and they appear to be the same form factor and a picture of the motor and connector is included the locking tabs and it took quite a bit of effort to remove them. The new motor seems to be a bit louder, and I think it's just the sound of more air being moved. The frame for the new engine is galvanized steel rather than the old engine's peeling black paint on what appears to be rusty chrome steel. its engine will stand the test of time. The old motor was still spinning freely, so its failure was not due to defective bearings.
