Due to the way my dishwasher is installed (not their fault) it took me 3 hours to remove the dishwasher, install the pump and reinstall the dishwasher. Hooked up the water - no leaks, yes! I turned on the dishwasher and water came out from under the dishwasher so I had to turn the water off. Another hour later, after pulling out the dishwasher and wiping off all the water, I checked to see where the water was coming from. It turned out that the two pieces that made up the plastic front of the pump weren't soldered together around the perimeter, so water was pumped through that seam and splashed all over the kitchen floor and the bottom of the dishwasher. Four hours of work with no result and now I have to do it again when I get a new pump from another supplier.
