Review on Partsam 12V LED Submersible Low Profile Trailer Lights: 🚤 Waterproof Combination Tail Light Kit for Boats, Trucks, and Trailers by Ken Beasom

I bought these about 3 months ago to put on my boat trailer. After about 2 months and maybe 7 or 8 times the trailer was in the water I noticed that the individual LEDs were not working and it was getting worse and worse. Eventually I took them apart and in both cases there was a ton of water that needed sealing. The seller replaced them for free which is great (and the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1) but the fact remains they are advertised as waterproof when they are not. I put sealant on the new ones, hope they hold up. ****Updated January 6, 2018 - downgraded to one star. The replacement headlights sent to me after ONE run and retrieve at the lake already have a significant amount of condensation and a few small water droplets inside, even after I coated the joint between the base plate and the clear cover with sealant. It's only a matter of time before these, too, fill up with water and fail. waste of money. ****Update 2 - May 19, 2018 - The replacement taillights that I received also started to fail. At the bottom of each is about 1/2 inch of water. A few individual LEDs have gone out, the rest is significantly darker than before. This time LED taillights of a well-known brand will be replaced.
