Bright and easy to install

These low profile LED dive lights are very cost effective and very easy to install. You'll be visible even on a bright, sunny day, and there's no need to untie the pickup truck's pigtail before unloading the boat. One of the improvements will be the provision of a license holder. I've been using them for about three years now and they work really well. Very important.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Protection

Obviously "submersible " does not mean "waterproof "!

Submersible Trailer requires light to be "tight" or "watertight". Used 1 time in a lake and water got into one of the two rear lights. Still works but the light is blurry and not what it should be. When you buy and install them, smear some silicone around the connection between the lens and the body to seal it. They don't appear to have a factory seal or sealant and just snap together. Thought a removable drain plug would probably be a good idea, if they can't keep it dry at least get the water

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Replacement Availability

Will not fit existing boat trailer mounting brackets

Despite two mounting options on the rear of the lights, the screw spacing is still too large to work with. See attached drawing. It seemed to me that the position of the mount points was changed from what it should be. Instead of three bolts on the outside, away from the trailer frame, they should have been on the inside, closer to the trailer frame. I ended up having to make new brackets out of aluminum rods, a real PIA. If you are replacing existing lights on a mount, especially those with…

Brighter/safer than old headlights

One of my boat trailer lights stopped working so I took it apart to replace the bulb but found the entire wiring harness was rusted so I started looking for a new wiring harness , but eventually found him this LED kit on Revain. The external dimensions of my original lights are identical to these, so they were easy to swap out (I used marine grade waterproof shrink connectors). I was about to replace the (broken) driver's side light so my trailer would be legal and wouldn't bother with anything

  • Satisfied so far

  • Hard to tell

Leak-o-matic bulbs

Alright folks. First review after purchasing hundreds of products here at Revain. DO NOT buy these lamps if you are thinking of exposing them to moisture. They lasted 2 weeks on my boat trailer before they stopped working. If you look at the picture, you can see that water is entering and the taillight is not working. year warranty you say? Yes, good luck with that. The company that makes them kept me going for weeks. Just great. So if you want to be like me and repeat that job with another…

While they are waterproof, they are definitely NOT submersible. very bad!

yes, very easy assembly, old shell removed and screwed on and I was done; but definitely they were NOT submersible. Put this on a boat trailer to make my old trailer look fresh and modern again. Unfortunately, after only 3-4 trips to the lake, the truck's dashboard detected a "driver's side brake light warning". Upon closer inspection, water has entered the lens, I've noticed a very small droplet on the underside, but it's not clear from where. I contacted the seller 3 weeks ago for…

NOT waterproof - 2 separate kits failed

I bought these about 3 months ago to put on my boat trailer. After about 2 months and maybe 7 or 8 times the trailer was in the water I noticed that the individual LEDs were not working and it was getting worse and worse. Eventually I took them apart and in both cases there was a ton of water that needed sealing. The seller replaced them for free which is great (and the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1) but the fact remains they are advertised as waterproof when they are not. I put sealant…

Pros
  • Packaging and Warranty: The kit includes 2 flat LED boat trailer lights, stainless steel mounting screw, bolts and accessories and 4 reflective stickers. Wiring harness and bracket not included. We offer 1 year warranty! If you have any questions or concerns about our rectangular taillights, please feel free to contact us. We will reply you within 24 hours.

Find an alternative

I didn't find anything wrong with this light set per se, but I bought this particular set to save a few bucks over my typical brand. I'm pretty sure they are designed and distributed by the same manufacturer as the light pattern, brightness etc are the same as my previous lights. I only bought these to replace one of the taillights as Ohio roads have more craters than their others and aesthetically you can never say I don't have the "right kit" on my trailer. So why three stars? For what I…

  • FUNCTIONS AND LEDS: Rectangular combo taillights, when properly installed, perform 7 functions on trailers over 80" wide: stop, close, turn, side marker, side reflector, rear spacing, rear reflector and integrated license plate. a light on the driver's side illuminates the license plate; The left light has 22 diodes, including 4 diodes for the license plate light function, the right light has 18 diodes, applies to trucks, trailers, tractors, dump trucks, buses, boats, RVs, RVs, etc.

  • The list will be long.

If I knew then what I know now I would have bought something else

At first glance the headlights look OK but when I installed them I was very disappointed. When I ordered them I thought they at least came with some instructions but there was nothing in the box except 2 lightbulbs and a small bag of gear. How to mount them is something you have to figure out for yourself, which led to the biggest disappointment, which is the mounting system. Instead of screws, the flashlights come with threaded rods (similar to a grub screw) that screw into threaded sockets on

Pros
  • IP68 Waterproof and submersible (we updated it this year): There is no screw on the lampshade, the trailer LED lights are fully welded, the circuit board of the tail Light is a seal. We chipped this taillight in the middle to prevent water ingress, so water flows into the outer lens interlayer, but is prevented by the isolated chips. The drain hole serves to suck out all the water. This ensures that the water does not damage the diodes or the circuit board;
Cons
  • Requires socket
