In order to play UHD 4K disc, it is important to do so.
Before you buy, download and run the Intel(R) Processor Identification Utility. In the Security and Reliability section, look for Intel® Software Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX). If it is not listed, you cannot install the required SGX software. In this case, the drive is no different from non-UHD drives. Other than that, it's a nice, compact, portable device. I wish I had done my homework first, the only reason I bought was for the UHD playback. Without this feature, the existing 8 drives I already have will suffice. sorry to say
