I finally installed it between the solar panel and the charge controller. I'm not an electrician, far from it. I had to email Bayite customer service with some stupid questions. They responded very quickly. They sent me a diagram of how to do what I wanted and it worked great. I'm attaching a schematic in case anyone is trying to get readings from the solar array to the charge controller and the battery. Worked great for me. There are skilled technicians who know their products and take the time to resolve installation issues quickly and courteously. product works fine
