I have good productive days with an extended monitor next to my laptop. 1) Powered by USB port or laptop power adapter. This monitor draws 5V and less than 1A from USB. The MacBook Pro provides an adequate and stable amplifier to power the monitor. The normal power supply supports 5V 2A and works great as an external power supply. Of course, it comes with a 5V 3A USB adapter. 2) It offers excellent color reproduction compared to Macbook and Windows systems. Mac Display P3 color profile is supported for IPS screens. .Easy to calibrate with datacolor Spyder Pro for Mac and Windows systems.3)Flexible viewing angle.Vertical layout is better for web browsing and document reading/writing.4)Use it as a mirror screen to view PPT information even more better exchange. You no longer have to sit next to customers to see a small laptop screen. 5) Minor bug. If it can be fitted with a small leg rest, placing it vertically will help. Using a basic iPhone or iPad stand will get the job done just fine. I would highly recommend it to friends who may be giving a small presentation to a small audience, or on the go, or just need daily use for desktop tasks.
