If you do it yourself, you will love it!

This material is excellent. Back when I worked in the body shop, large holes were covered with fiberglass and then wetted with tiger hair. When polished, tiger hair was very itchy and you had to wear a very expensive mask to keep the fibers from getting into your lungs. With this screening, Tiger Hair is just a memory. Sometimes we've used old latticework from barred doors, but it takes an artist to keep them from bunching up and it's really messy. This product reminds me of drywall mesh tape. Same principle, I applied a thin coat of Bondo to the bare metal by pressing it in, after making a dry fit to follow the contours of the body, waiting a few minutes for it to set, then more Layers of Bondo applied until I was done. . happy with it. Really makes it easier to fix old cars and they don't rust!

Pros
  • The patch material can be cut, folded and shaped to most contours
Cons
  • I will write later
