This is a great device if you want to build a truly automated, connected home. BUT I have to warn you, you have to be patient in the beginning. If you don't give it at least a week to set up, I almost guarantee you'll want to send it back. The Hue motion sensor has a lot of tweaks/adjustments, which is great, but it can be annoying to get. to where it is right for you. I have a sensor that's set to kitchen lights because I'm in and out of the kitchen when I'm cooking or cleaning, and it's nice when it turns off automatically if I'm gone too long. It's also good that you don't have to constantly remember to turn off the light. But it took me a while to get the motion sensitivity right, so it didn't ignore me when I entered the room, but also didn't trigger every time one of my pets walked by. It took about a week but I have to say I really like the product, just be patient if you are considering a purchase.
