I've used various running armbands in the past with varying degrees of success but I think this is probably the best. The attachment of the case to the strap is very strong and never felt like it would fall off, but comes off very easily. I ran across a bridge this weekend and wanted to take a picture of the water and it was very easy to take it off, take a picture and put it back on without having to adjust the strap. It's also very useful for switching music or checking your route while you're playing. The case is solid and narrow, making the phone a bit difficult to access, but it's a fair compromise for protection. The only other thing that's a bit fiddly is the on/off function, which makes the phone easy to grip and just makes it look bulky (doesn't sit flush on the hand like some other straps). However, if you prioritize looks over functionality, you probably haven't gotten that far anyway. I would recommend it.
