I bought these earrings with the idea that they would be comfortable for long time wear without much maintenance. However, I found a couple sets failed out of the gate because they seemed to be stripped. (FYI, you want to put these in by inserting the end from the back of your ear and screwing the flat end from the front - from my experience this works the best.) Anyway, I wanted these to be 'studs' that I could put in and forget about, and not have discomfort while sleeping. After one set failed, I tried others (I have 7 ear piercings, so I tried several pairs.) After only a few days I almost lost one set because they came undone.tl:dr - just not really happy with these.
