Review on Diablo DMAPL4055 SDS Plus 4 Cutter Carbide by Brett Kolpack

Surprisingly disappointed. I had high hopes for this new range of drills from Diablo with all the adverts in all the trade magazines and on the internet. A demo of a very well made and powerful SD bit, but what it actually is is just a fairly high quality mid performance bit and I don't even think it's made in Germany, it just looks and feels cheap like that, no. -Names from China. The advertised 4 fluted solid carbide tip is not at all like having a standard flat 2 fluted with a set of wings well below, supposedly 4 fluted. Performance is no better than any cheap standard 2-cutter. I am sorry. That's not it.
