Review on King Size Bed Sheets Microfiber by Jessica Simmons

Let me start by saying that I think these are excellent sheets for the price. Assuming the product information hasn't been changed/updated, it seems these folks are leaving one and two star reviews in capital letters that say "sheets are not made from Egyptian cotton"! actually test their ability to read descriptions (which is not a fair use of Revain's rating system). From the description it is not clear that it is cotton, only the quality is similar and the number of threads is high. They are actually polyester. As someone who is too lazy to read product descriptions, I also initially thought it was cotton. But the price just wasn't right, so I read more carefully. I don't like polyester bedding but I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. The only reason I'm taking a star off my rating is because the color wasn't what I expected. I have "camel" and I think the color is more "walnut" or "mustard" than camel. They're kind of golden. They're still coming with the rest of my linens, so it's not a deal breaker. We had trouble getting the sheets deep enough to fit our mattress, so here's my big problem: We have a deep mattress plus a 3-inch memory foam topper and fitted sheet that goes well with this one set fits. The flat sheet is not long enough to tuck in the sides if you like. It sank about an inch below our mattress. I slept on sheets for the first time last night and found them very soft and comfortable. It's winter now, I can't tell you how the sheets will perform on very hot nights. They seem pretty breathable. I liked that there were four pillowcases in the set instead of two. Pleasant surprise as I didn't realize that before I bought it. The threads on the sheet and pillowcases wrinkled a bit after washing, which is common with cotton, but I wasn't expecting it with polyester. Ultimately it doesn't matter and I'm still happy with the price I paid.
