Review on Mopar 52125003AB Rear Wheel Sensor by Michael Walker

2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara Ordered this sensor advertised as OEM got aftermarket instead. This is the sensor I got from Amazon. There are hardly any differences between the sensors. They are the same shape, size and build quality. The OEM sensor has the part number molded into the plastic along with the serial number, the sensor I received did not. Plastics feel the same and it works. I have little faith this will last long as the OEM sensor failed at 40,000 miles. Good: I saved $275 by buying this sensor and doing the work myself. First of all, Chrysler has to make good OEM parts. Too bad the sensors fail on a 3 year old Jeep with 40,000 miles on it. Worse, the dealer wanted to charge me $300 to replace the sensor. Jeep is almost out of warranty. Installation: This was very easy for me. It took 45 minutes from installation to cleaning. I raised the right rear axle with a bottle jack and then secured it with a jack. I took the wheel off using a 1/2" punch with a metric socket of the correct size for the lugs. I then removed the old sensor using an 8mm socket with a 1/4" ratchet. Then I pulled the old sensor out about halfway. I was able to flip it over so I could unplug the harness connector. Turning it off wasn't easy .You have to click on the red tab to the top.For this I used a flathead screwdriver.You then have to click on the gray tab to release the connector.Then I put everything back together with a new sensor.After that I connected my code scanner and cleared the ABS fault codes I hope I was able to help whoever is reading this.
