Need a little DIY!

I'm happy to have this flexible baffle built into my hamster's cage, but be aware it's not safe to use it this way! There are gaps between the wooden parts where hamsters or mice can get their paws caught, which must be covered. I used non-toxic glue to attach natural sisal rope to the top to fill in the gaps, making it safer for my dwarf hamster but still able to be bent and shaped. It works well in her cage, but not without some DIY.
