I pretty confident that my screw as the correct size. 12MM x 1.5 pitch. I measured it with a caliper and compared it to the specifications in the Machinery's Handbook. However, I did not use a pitch or screw gauge. I could have been slightly off. . but I highly doubt it.If this was the correct size, it did not fit correctly. I was impossible to get the treads to line up, even with good threads. I was unable to use it. However, if you are in need of repairing a thread on an expensive part and you know exactly what thread diameter and pitch you have, I would take the risk and buy another one.
