Might be a GREAT tool, but it's not!

Indeed, this tool would make a great addition to a carpenter's or serious hobbyist's toolbox, but it isn't enough. It's a great idea and would be a great tool, but the quality is terrible. The metal frame that holds the blades is too light and holds very little tension on the blade. So once you start pushing the blade to cut through something, the blade usually pops out. If you try to push just behind the hole in the blade to keep it from coming out, the blade will bend and not cut straight even if it doesn't pop out. I was really hoping it would be a quality tool as it would be great for making difficult topiary cuts which can be very frustrating at times. What really stinks is that the blades' stitching is of pretty good quality, including a pair that looks like a cable blade with teeth all the way around, allowing you to cut in any direction (as long as the blade hasn't fallen out). I hope someone copies this soon because it could be an amazing tool! Chris J Boston
