Review on Champion Folding Auto Umbrella Thunder: Your Portable Protection in Any Storm by Christine Allen

The C9 Champion is marketed as a golf umbrella. I would say it's a bit small to qualify as a real golf umbrella. It is significantly larger than a typical travel umbrella, but not as big as you would expect from a golf umbrella in my opinion. The umbrella measures 20 inches when closed and the canopy reaches 46 inches when open. The screen has 8 ribs so it is well supported. There are no ventilation holes so that no wind can penetrate under the umbrella. In heavy rain this can be a problem. Haven't used it in actual choppy conditions yet. The hood has a 12 inch drop from the center to the edges which gives a pretty good coverage. Color description Thunder grey. My umbrella, the color of the panels alternates between black and dark grey. Depending on the lighting, the difference can be quite small. The umbrella opens automatically at the push of a button. It will not be removed automatically. This is a very durable umbrella - the handle and ribs are made of durable metal. I think this is best for heavy rain showers as a personalized umbrella. Not sure if it will properly protect you and your golf cart. Excellent umbrella, durable, well built and with a large circle of protection.
