Advice for MCAS sufferers
I love the comforter itself, but my daughter (diagnosed with MCAS) reacts to this supposedly pure cotton cover even after many washes and airings. There are some suspicious fibers or chemical coatings that won't wash off. I trust her. Thank god she doesn't react to the blanket and it helped her a lot. And thank God the blanket is well sewn and does not leak. We've only washed it twice in 6 months (gentle cycle, air dry outside) and luckily it's still holding up. We wish we could use the cover and just wash it. Spring.
