These socks fit well and keep my feet warm while skiing. The weather wasn't very cold (mid 20's) both times I've worn them so far but as someone who always has cold hands and feet the fact that they were warm says something. I also rented gear on my last trip and the rented boots were nowhere near as comfortable as my own. These socks protected my shins from bruising better than my old pair of socks. Happy with them for skiing.
