My Smartthings V1 hub was old and I decided to upgrade before it broke down. Switching hubs takes a long time, but the new application allows you to add a new hub to the original account (give it a different name). You can then exclude the device from the old hub, switch, and then add it to the new one. The new wireless hub makes it easy to add devices as a small USB battery pack (not included with the hub) allowed me to navigate the V3 hub over Wi-Fi and connect with ease. It took a little ingenuity to get rid of the old wired switches in time. The new hub with Z-Wave plus now shows many more devices with direct connection to the hub and faster execution. Important: Take care of your automation, because after disconnecting devices from your old hub, the connected automation also disappears, the same applies to settings. how the sensors are arranged. FYI, I have 40 devices on my network. Good luck and keep telling yourself "this is fun".
