I bought this new projector. The device consistently fails to recognize my laptop when connected to HDMI. Sometimes I can get it to work by repeatedly restarting the projector and laptop. It's terrible that you have to do this process so often. I've tried different laptops and different HDMI cables and a different HDMI port. Yes, I've also tried disconnecting and reconnecting. I even checked the settings on all the laptops to see if the issues were related to multiple laptops (connected to the same projector). The projector is defective and I don't know how it passed the fit and quality check. This product isn't cheap - and it's appalling that this company is making a poor quality product at this price point. I do NOT recommend this product (or brand) and will not buy again.
