Excellent for doorbells and an alert system!

So far so great! I have a doorbell on the house, on the gate for others and one in the barn and one in the bedroom loose to be by bed or bathtub to alert if needing help. Each has their own ring so we know who needs help or if someone is here and the ringtone says what location by which ring it has. It even has a ringtone that is an alarm! Only wish it had one more receiver for outside when in back yard! We have one in lr/ kitchen, one in bedroom, one in barn. So far the have stood up to the horrendous amount of rain we have gotten lately. Two of the doorbell buttons are exposed to the elements.

Pros

easy to set up and loud enough to hear. would be nice if doorbells had led illumination.

Cons

The chime selection may be too kitschy for some users

Takes a bit of patience to chose 4 diff. melodies but once done, the units work very well. Can identify visitor location by ring tone and hear it throughout a two-story home. Working well after two months of use.
