Review on Trimmer gasoline STIHL FS 38, AutoCut C 5-2, 0.9 hp, 38 cm by Adam Walendzik ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

We have been using it for 7-8 years now. Mostly the wife mows, she copes with the weight. It mows perfectly, two spools have already been ground off, the third is on the way. Twice, out of stupidity, the shaft limit switch broke (it wound up a lot of grass, but instead of cleaning it, the wife pressed on the gas). Forces the scythe to deep overheating, this is when the scythe no longer stalls when turned off with the button. From the very beginning there were problems with winding - the wife filled the candle, I had to teach how to unscrew the candle and blow the cylinder (by the way, she has the same problems with a chainsaw, and I start it with a few jerks). Conclusion - a gasoline engine is not suitable for every woman. Once the casing broke - I put the green one from the Viking - it was cheaper, but it fits like a native. Now the off button is broken - it doesn’t work at all, it’s possible that the wire fell off from the vibration, until it was disassembled. In general, the purchase is satisfied - tenacious little thing.

Pros
  • Quality, service centers in almost every village, engine life and more. others
Cons
  • Price. There is not enough belt in the kit, it seems not so expensive. Noise (as a disadvantage of all gasoline trimmers).
