Review on 🌬️ Google Nest Thermostat Snow - Smart WiFi Thermostat for Home with Programmable Features by Chad Siofele

Our home was built in 2003 and still has the original stove. The Google compatibility test showed that everything is ready. I pre-ordered Nest and received it two days after launch. I was so excited to get rid of our old thermostat. Installed the same day! The Google Home app was really easy to use and will guide you through the installation step by step. I ran into a problem when I saw that our old thermostat wasn't using the C (common) wire. There are three wires left that have not been connected. I went into the garage and opened the firebox to look at the control panel. The same 3 wires were not connected to anything there. I connected one of the unused wires to wire C at both ends (socket and furnace). Boom! Wire C was recognized and the socket was supplied with continuous current. Overall I like the look, the home screen shows the date, time, indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity. It's easy to use with my Alexa Dot and does everything we need it to do. We are satisfied and recommend it. Tip: Check with your gas/electricity supplier, they may offer a discount for purchasing a smart thermostat. We got our $75 back!
