I bought it to work with my Macbook and have a home setup with an external keyboard. This monitor is simply great for this task. I researched for a few months and when prices dropped I grabbed this 2007 model. I actually prefer this model over the 2008 model because it offers DVI inputs instead of HDMI. The 2008 model only offers VGA and HDMI, so I needed a conversion cable. Basically I would have a cable from Mini DVI -> DVI and then another cable from DVI -> HMDI. such a pain! This monitor was very easy to set up and looks great. The glossy black body looks crisp and you get plenty of customization options. I didn't use the bundled software to install as I heard a lot of complaints. I also don't like installing additional software that might be unnecessary, so I gave up. The monitor looked good from the start but needed some tweaking. Here I am a bit wrong about this monitor. I have yet to find a middle ground for the settings. I went through Apple's screen setup and it didn't help much. Eventually I found a profile someone had created online, downloaded it and have been using it for the last month. The swivel stand that the monitor sits on is amazing! That's the main reason I switched to a 22-inch monitor. The 20" HP2007 has no height adjustment. I'm tired of using monitors like this and stretching my neck. The controls on this monitor are great; you get height and tilt, and you can position the screen far away to view documents with Less scrolling to display better Overall I'd give it a 9 out of 10. -1 for difficulty adjusting color controls.
