Purchased this light from Pier One. It was originally a pendant light but I wanted it to be ceiling mounted. The bulbs/lights once hung inside were TOO flashy and bright. Just generally ugly. The acrylic circle I ordered was perfect for my application. It was so light it just attached to the frame with magnets and the protective film worked perfectly creating a frosted glass effect. Now the suspension is MUCH easier on the eye and the light is diffused and perfect. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is a DIY enthusiast.
